The Patriots, as expected, added a tight end via free agency. And they got a wicked good one. Alge Crumpler. He has made the Pro Bowl 4 times, and was All-Pro twice. Very big, of course. Actually, he might be somewhat of a load. But so what. This means the Patriots won't have to draft a tight end with one of their early picks.
