The Patriots picked another linebacker with their third pick. Someone named Crable, who is a big fast guy. He might be turned into a third down passrush specialist, or an occasional sub for the starters. Of course, immediately he will be on special teams. But in a couple of years, he and Mayo should be the starters. I hope Seau makes it another year. They they would have loads of depth.
Bruschi, Seau, Mayo in the middle.
Thomas, Vrabel, Crable on the outside.
And some guy they picked up as free agent.
A very strong position.
