The Boston Red Sox won again by outscoring the opponents. This time it was 7-4, and they actually won the game. Made it above .500, which is pretty pathetic. But everyone else is pathetic as well.

We can never have too much provincialism and finance to get the work accomplished with the government fiscal pronouncements of wicked responsible creationism democracy. Now, try to figure that out.

Red Sox won again last night for the millionth time in a row, this time by underscoring somebody 3-4. And giving up a 2-run homer in the 9th.

We should all attend functions like this. “Positive” was the word of the week at the 14th Annual Best Beginnings Early Childhood Conference as representatives from the Department of Human Services talked to parents and teachers about developing children's literacy, language and social skills. Over 1,000 people attended the conference at the University of the Virgin Islands Thursday and Friday, and also Monday and Tuesday at the UVI campus on St. Croix. During the conference, entitled “Quality for Every Child across Early Childhood Settings,” about 25 breakout sessions throughout the day allowed teachers, parents and speakers to ask questions and act out real-world scenarios involving classroom activity and behavior. Lecturers encouraged attendees to share stories, successful solutions and especially ongoing problems, to learn more about appropriate responses and how to progressively help children over time. "We're discussing comments and concerns that have been addressed to Human Services," said quality improvement specialist Karida Green. "We're training to learn things about the curriculum and bringing in innovative ways to teach." Several of the presentations focused not on what children need to work on, but what care providers must improve, whether it's ways to successfully put a child in time-out or how to individually cater to each child's needs.

There was a wicked big rental villa in the town of the house today, but nobody bothered to go to it because it was not listed on and it certainly did not appear on either. So the poor villa sat empty.

The only good song ever by so-and-so the scooper and twanger is playing, and it is actually good. Friends in Low Places. I like it. St. John villas and St. John vacation villas are undoubtedly where to spend a vacation in the virgin islands.

The Boston Red Sox won 8-6 over the moribund orioles. The Red Sox are, of course, in first place by minus a few games.
